What is the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Pass?
For us, the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card is one of the best perks of a summer vacation in our region. It is available exclusively at participating partner accommodations and cannot be purchased separately.
The Hotel Latini is a participating partner in the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card program. For stays between May 15 and October 31, the Summer Card is issued to our guests and is already included in the price of their stay.
This opens the door to numerous destinations and experiences around Zell am See and Kaprun—from mountain railways to boat tours and beach resorts to some of the region’s most famous attractions.
What experiences are included with the Summer Pass?

Schmittenhöhe
Our local mountain in Zell is always worth a visit. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely hike with panoramic views, a family outing, or simply want to enjoy the view of Lake Zell and the surrounding 3,000-meter peaks—the mountain railways take you up there in comfort.
Kitzsteinhorn
For many of our guests, a trip into the high alpine terrain is simply part of their vacation. Even the ride up offers impressive views of the mountains surrounding Kaprun. Please note that not all cable cars and additional services at the Kitzsteinhorn are fully included in the summer pass.

When can I use the summer pass?
The Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card is issued for stays between May 15 and October 31.
During the peak season from July 15 through September 15, the Summer Card is valid starting at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Additional rules apply to certain particularly popular main attractions during this period. With such a wide selection on the summer menu, you could easily try to fit in several attractions every day. We usually recommend the opposite to our guests.
It's best to pick one special experience per day and allow yourself enough time to truly enjoy Zell am See-Kaprun.

Summer Pass and Guest Mobility Ticket—what's the difference?
These two cards are often confused with one another, but they serve different purposes.
With the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Pass, you can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities, mountain railways, and attractions.
In addition, our guests receive the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, which allows them to use public transportation throughout the SalzburgerLand region during their stay.
This combination is especially convenient: it allows you to enjoy many vacation experiences even without your own car.
The summer menu, conveniently on your smartphone
The Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card can also be used digitally via the Zell am See-Kaprun app. There, you’ll also find plenty of information for your stay and can conveniently carry your guest cards with you on your smartphone.
We recommend downloading the app before you arrive. That way, you'll have plenty of important information right at your fingertips during your vacation.

No. The Summer Card is not available for purchase by the general public. It is issued exclusively to guests staying at participating partner accommodations.
Is the summer pass valid on the day of arrival?
Generally speaking, yes. However, during the peak season from July 15 to September 15, it is valid only starting at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. In addition, special terms of use apply to certain major attractions during this period.
Is the summer pass still valid on the day of departure?
Yes. You can still make the most of your departure day as part of your vacation experience.
Do children also receive a summer pass?
Yes. Children also receive their own personalized summer pass.
Do I still need a car if I have the Summer Card?
Not necessarily. By combining the Summer Card with the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can reach many tourist destinations by public transportation.

From the Hotel Latini, you can reach the AreitXpress valley station in just a few minutes, , and Lake Zell is also nearby. Thanks to the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can easily explore other destinations by bus and train.
